Fire Bellied Toad (Bombina Orientalis) Green

Fire belly toads are a great beginner amphibian! These toads are voracious eaters and quite hardy captive specimens that can live 10 plus years if cared for properly. They are partially aquatic and do great in a paludarium (tank with water and land), they can also be housed in a terrarium with a large water bowel. The toads offered for sale will be at least an inch long and feeding on crickets already, they also readily accept chopped up night crawlers, large fruit flies, and wax worms. Fire belly toads are mildly toxic and not dangerous to handle but it is recommended that you wash your hands after handling them, that being said handling should be kept to a minimum. These toads are mostly green but some will have some brown on the sides, back or legs, most turn green as they age but some keep a bit of the brown as adults.
