When buying tadpoles consider that there is more that can go wrong with tadpoles than when buying juvenile frogs. Tadpoles are more fragile and can die randomly or in rare cases get SLS (Spindly Leg Syndrome). Also even after they make their metamorphosis they are quite fragile as froglets. That being said tadpoles are fairly easy to raise and in most cases do great if given proper conditions and care.
